Chapter 8: Ideological Criticism

1) What is an ideology?
Foss states that "An ideology is a pattern of beliefs that determines a group's interpretations of some aspect(s) of the world."
2) What are the primary components of an ideology?
Foss describes the primary components of an ideology as "...evaluative beliefs--beliefs about which there are possible alternative judgments."
